Anyone heard of a chemical pregnancy?

Long story short I had two test that had two faint lines being positive ... we went to the hospital it says 100% negative ... I don’t get a regular period and after the hospital trip I started bleeding and having intense cramps ... I talked to this one girl about it and she asked if it was a chemical pregnancy.. how common are theses?

Super common. In March I had a BFP on a digital test and later that day started bleeding and had a 7 day period. Messaged my dr and she said it is super common. Just happens when the egg and sperm aren’t a good match.

very common.  a few years ago, we thought I was pregnant.  2 positive tests, got excited, told the family, etc.  a week later I started to bleed and was scared.  when I went to the ER, I told the doctor of the positive pregnancy tests.  they did blood work and he came in all happy "well, you're not pregnant!  a lot of times you can get a false positive".  I did research when I got home and found out a false positive almost NEVER happens and found out a chemical pregnancy is more common.  the egg was fertilized and started to implant giving off hormones to show a pregnancy, but just couldn't hold on and was lost.  most women dont realize they had a chemical pregnancy because they never tested.  it is usually just chalked up to a late period.

Very common some women don’t even know they have them due to some happening right before your period, I think that’s what I’m having again... this will be my second one I’ve had. I have a faint positive at 6DPO and now all negatives at 11DPO ... 😔
