A little bit about me before I start: I’m a 19 year old college student who is currently taking a summer class, working part time in retail, and traveling to and from family to help care for them each weekend!

So my gyno and I switched my birth control to help with excessive pain and to hopefully not have to test for endometriosis - and she told me it may make my period lighter and that some of her patients even said they don’t bleed on this pill. The pill is Lo loestrin fe. I just finished my first packet and my period never came. Is it normal to miss a period when you switch birth control pills?

Side note - the last month has also been extraordinarily stressful and exhausting. I know that probably affected my cycle some, but on my previous pill, tri-sprintec, my period came at the same time no matter how stressed out I was.
