Could u marry someone that was super religious?

In this situation the person is not trying to convert u, but they intent to take ur future children to their church.

I couldn’t marry someone that I don’t have the same fundamental values as - if we did decide to adopt - I’m not open to baptisms or forcing a child down a religious path. 
I believe in waiting until they’re old enough and letting them explore churches / mosques / temple / Kingdom Hall at their own will. 
So them being super religious and wanting to baptize and being up our child into a religion I don’t believe in, would be a considerable difference I couldn’t reconcile.

No. I think fundamentally people should be on the same page. I wouldn’t want my kids looking at me thinking I’m going to hell because their dad took them to church and I don’t believe in it.

My husband isnt religious, but I am a struct Catholic. When we started dating, I was upfront and said I wouldn't marry someone who wouldn't help me raise our kids Catholic. He doesn't have to be, but our kids will be. Hes fine with it.

I had never been super religious growing up. I was always fascinated with religion, but I never understood how so many people could follow a book that is widely known to be changed by kings and queens. 
    These past couple of years I’ve been the “sex teacher” with most of the people I know. The pressure of sex was really getting to me. Everyone expected me to have sex with everyone. I‘m good at it so I didn’t mind that’s how they saw me. Until that became all they saw. I wanted to change but I didn’t know how. 
    Then I meet a guy who I immediately fell for. He told me he wanted to wait. I was a bit skeptical if I could do that knowing marriage is not in our near future. The more we went out the simpler things became. No pressure of sex just us enjoying each other. 
    I went to his Catholic Church, ya know wanting to make a good impression and try to understand his religion. “Contraception is as Evil as Rape” the man said. I was taken aback, scared and incredibly worried that everyone around me really believed that. Most of them would say yes it’s evil but not on the same scale of rape which reassured me. 
    So yes I could marry this religious goof ball. I’m already going to church with him and his family.

I am Christian but I haven’t gone to church in awhile so if my husband was of different religion then me and wanted to take our children to church that’s fine by me but he will need to understand stand that our kids have a choice if they want to go and learn about his religion or stay at home and let me teach them about my religion, it shouldn’t really matter as long as there is love and compassion for others right?

I am religious, and I married someone that wasn’t.
He was a lot of other things though, like abusive and a drug addict. The marriage didn’t work for those reasons, but now I wouldn’t even be in a relationship with someone who didn’t have the same beliefs as me.

No, personality for me I believe in God yes but I do NOT follow any specific religion, and I also believe in science as well. I will never force my future children to attend any-type of religious event, church anything. Will I let them explore and support them once they are old enough and chose? Yes of course I want them to be happy following their own belifs.

I want my children to be atheist like me, but if my future husband were to want our children to be Christian it'd be bothersome but not necessarily a deal breaker.
