Dear Cousin

I hate you for all the pain you have caused in this family. I hate you for making my aunt, your mother, a woman who would give you the clothes off her back, cry every day. I hate you for the neglect of our grandparents who helped raised you through your parents’ divorce. You had a beautiful baby but you refuse to let us love her because why? You won’t send us pictures, you won’t let us change a diaper or kiss the baby. Why? You were always so close to this family before. I loved you before but now I hate you for the pain you cause the entire family. Your mother, sister and grandparents do not deserve your hatefulness.
