You can lust for multiple people but you can only be "in love" with one. This has been proven over and over again

There’s a massive difference between lust and love, if you genuinely loved that person you wouldn’t fall in love with someone else but that’s my opinion

If you fell in love with the second, you didn’t love the first. 
I do agree there are different kinds of love, deciphering those can be difficult and may seem like someone is “in love” with more than one person though.

I don’t think its possible. I think you’re kidding yourself if you think you love the first yet fell in love with the second. Either it’s not love with the first, or it’s simply lust with the second

I think it’s kind of ridiculous to have these kind of “black and white” ideas of love for all people. Yes, many people are monogamous and can only truly be in love with one person. But human beings are complex, so are relationships, so is life. It’s totally possible to love two people romantically. Maybe not for everyone, but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible
