Sever Right Butt Cheek Pain?

I am going to the chiropractor today but curious if anyone else has been battling sever sharp pain in one butt cheek/back of the hip area maybe. It has been paining me for months. I almost cant take it anymore. I'm pretty much immobile at night trying to turn from.left to right and get out of bed and put pressure on it that leg. Pain is only in very specific area in middle ish of cheek. I dont know if its sciatica because I read that shoots down the leg and I dont have that.
