Do you think when ladies say they have pregnancy symptoms and end up not being pregnant, the symptoms were just in their head?

I always see ladies on here say that they have pregnancy symptoms, but then end up not being pregnant. Just curious if those symptoms could perhaps be psychological because the desire to be pregnant is so strong.

When I actually was pregnant, I just thought I had some bad PMS. And I've had PMS where I think I'm pregnant and I'm not. I think the symptoms are so similar you can't make a judgement based off of them.

I think sometimes they mistake ovulation or period symptoms for pregnancy symptoms. But sometimes yes it’s in their head, the mind is a powerful tool that can trick you especially if you’re obsessing about feeling pregnancy symptoms

I think a lot of women mistaken PMS symptoms for pregnancy symptoms since they are similar and then symptom spot on top of that based on things they have read are early pregnancy symptoms

A lot of symptoms are all down to progesterone right at the beginning, so could be pregnancy or pms but just hard to tell, also I think when ttc we become more tuned in to our monthly cycle and what is going on with our bodies so the symptoms become more noticeable.
