Stenosis

Elizabeth • TTC#1. 5 years and counting. Waiting for our little miracle.

Not sure if anyone went through this. I know this is super rare and im sure not many are treated for this but I had a very narrow cervix. They widened my cervix with surgery. They said it may have been a cause for my infertility and was also a cause for my extremely painful period cramps. So my question is will your cervix stay widened after this, its been a year, also will it cause problems during pregnancy because i believe if it did work my cervix is always open now. (I could be wrong on that, i googled and it came up with pregnancy risks after widening surgery). I am going to go through an IUI procedure next month so I am really hoping its still open. TIA.
