Did you buy newborn size clothes or go Straight to 0-3 month clothes for your newborn?

I bought 7 newborn outfits. Rest 0-3. She was 6 pounds when she was born but i had really fatty breast milk, she was 9 pounds by 1 month old. 7 did us well

I mean I have some newborn stuff but my first never fit into it so I haven't bothered too much this time round. Mostly got 0-3 for this baby

My son was too short for 0-3 months. Heck, he was almost too short for newborns. He was 7 lbs, 12 oz but only 17.5 inches. Pants and sleepers just swallowed him.

My daughter was 7lbs 15 oz and 22 inches long and she put on weight so fast that the doctor was shocked yet she still fit into newborn for 2 months. Unless you are giving birth to a 10-11lb baby it's unlikely to go straight to 0-3mos clothing.
