When we were in our teens we assumed that any sort of contact with someone of the opposite sex automatically meant sex,Nowadays, youngsters have a different approach to sexual relations. They can have a range of friendships and relationships with members of the opposite sex without it automatically meaning sex straight away. Girls are able to talk to boys as normal human beings rather than as boyfriends. They grow comfortable in each other's company without that sense of awkwardness we had.

in my opinion i find we are too quick to judge. girls and guys can be friends, but i don’t think parents realize it that quick. they automatically assume when you ask if you can invite your guy friend to stay the night at your birthday party with all your other friends, they assume, sex. and that’s not fair. it is completely unfair. i can see why they would be worrying, but it shouldn’t be this way. i think it is completely okay for girls and guys to have sleepovers. AS LONG as it’s in a friend way.
