Can progesterone levels suggest pregnancy?

I'm 7DPO and just had my progesterone checked today. It was 27.4 ng/ml, which is in the reference range for 1st trimester pregnancy according to my doctor's reference chart. Has anybody had numbers around there and been pregnant/not pregnant, or had other stuff going on?

With each of my medicated cycles I have had progesterone 28-40 and no bfp yet. My doctor says a high progesterone is good to tell you you had a strong ovulation and possible multiple eggs released. Could also indicate pregnancy. But that wasn’t the case for me. I hope you get good news in the next week!

I progesterone was 20.4 when I was pregnant and then 21.2 a cycle I wasn’t. I think it only tells you it was a good ovulation.

Nope. Just means you had good ovulation.  The more follies you release the higher Prog produced as well.

my levels where around 30 the first time and 60 the second, was not pregnant.

I had similar progesterone levels this month after using Clomid! Hoping for a BFP in a few days! It is a good sign that you ovulated but still very early to tell if you are pregnant. You are accurate that your levels are higher than those of an early pregnancy but you just have to wait and see!
