Ivff?!

Question

Ill be going through ivf within a few weeks! Can someone please tell me how it worked out with you? The good/bad, happy/sad. Very curious please

I did two rounds of it neither worked. I have a low amh and the high amount of drugs I had to take affected my egg quality
28 and amh of .7 
Sucks.
The actual ivf process for me was really easy. My hubby traveled for work through a lot of it.. so I gave myself all the shots. It was easy for me but I don’t have a problem with needles. None of them hurt. No real side effects other than bloated. I was emotional after hearing each one failed but I seemed to get over it pretty quickly.

We have male factor infertility, and we were successful with the first transfer.  I’m 8 weeks so I’m still cautiously optimistic.  The success rates depend very heavily on the actual issue, age, if you get the right drug protocol, etc.

My first ivf was in June. The retrieval was awful. I posted a big long post on my experience as I was going through it. You can probably find it. I’m in Ontario and they don’t do general anesthesia here, just procedural sedation. But the good news is I’ve got my first ever BFP after the first FET :) going for my second beta tomorrow. Really hoping the next few months go smoothly. I really don’t want to join the m/c club...🤞🏻the most hopeful I’ve been in years! 🤩

My first cycle was a total failure. they were supposed to do icsi but decided against it on retrieval day, so only 2 of 13 fertilized with normal IVF, and I they pretty much went "ooh, so that's why we were supposed to do icsi, well do that next time".
Had a day 2 transfer, and the other one died. Negative, I knew already at transfer that it wasn't gonna work. So much disappointment at once!
Starting shots next week for a new fresh cycle.

I got pregnant with my first fresh cycle, shes almost 2.5 now. I had a  FET this spring that ended in miscarriage. I'm currently prepping for FET #2 for 8/8. Fingers crossed we get our sibling. Its certainly not fun but managable. Best of luck.

I failed my first cycle of ivf back in May but to be honest I didn’t find the actual process very difficult (i even lived over an hour away from where I had to go for ultrasounds and bloods). The hard part was having failed it and mentally dealing with that. Now I’m on my second cycle which is a longer one and I feel fine so far! I’m on buserelin so far and haven’t started my stims yet. 
I think the actual process may not be so difficult but mentally it can be so you have to be prepared for that. Be prepared for doubts and worries until the end of the cycle... because you’re only human..
