Where will/did your newborn sleep? (First few months)

So what works for newborns? Where do they sleep once arriving home and how long before transitioning to crib or own room?

I have a Arm’s Reach Co-sleeper that goes along side your bed and the baby is literally in arm’s reach. It’s easy to scoop them up out of it or simply pop a pacifier in their mouths in the middle of the night. They’re also right next to you but still safe in their own space.

I second the arms reach co sleeper. That’s what we used with daughter #1 and it was wonderful. At 7 months, she was sleeping through the night and we started putting her in her crib in her own room. It worked great. This baby, she’s 8 weeks and is also doing great with the co sleeper.

We have a snuggle nest so we co-sleep. Our little girl is almost 3 months and has been sleeping through the night for about a month so she’ll probably start sleeping in her crib here pretty soon (hopefully). My husband actually is the one who wants her to sleep with us a little longer.

I had a bassinet which a holder/rocker that I kept right next to me for the first 3 months, then she went to a crib! :)
