First appointment with an RE...any insight?

I have my first appointment scheduled for Friday. I believe this is going to be mostly a consultation and we will go over my husband and my history. Any advice? Should I expect any tests to be done or will it most likely just be a conversation between us and the doctor? I’m super nervous so any information about others’ experiences would be great! Thank you all!

Listen and ask questions. Go home and think about everything you guys talk about.  With my experience I went because I was diagnosed with pcos. The doctor talked about the disorder and told me she was going to put me on metformin. She immediately went into talking about further options and they’re cost. Not once did she tell me that metformin could be enough to balance my hormones. It was upsetting because she had me thinking I was going to have to lay upwards if $1000-$1300 a month. Turns out metformin was enough for me. I’ve gotten my period on my own since three months after taking it and I ovulate on my own to. I’m currently pregnant without having to take the other more expensive options. I know this isn’t the case for everyone but definitely think before spending money on things that might not be necessary.

History, bloodwork, and I also scheduled my HSG test and my husband scheduled a semen analysis.
