how they have kept true to the previous film adaptations but brought in even more of Anne's background from the book than any other before is amazingly powerful. Not to mention the new characters they have brought in seamlessly to the series. It's still Anne of Green Gables, but it's woke. I'm so love with it, give it a chance and see if it's for you.

I love the first season but in the second season it seemed like they focused more on social issues than the actual storyline.
