IUI #4 tomorrow! (Kind of long)

Ki

Hey everyone!

My husband and I are ttc#1. We’ve been trying for about 19 months now. I’m 25 and he is 26. This is my first cycle of using injectable FSH. I used femera for the past 5 cycles (three with IUI). For our first IUI I had one follicle and his count was 8 million moving (he “didn’t know” he couldn’t jerk off the day before IUI so it lowered his count). Our second IUI was better. I had two follies and his count was 20 million moving. For our third IUI, I had two follies and he had 64 million moving.

We moved ahead to injectable FSH and the ultrasounds confirmed my body is reacting very well to it. The main fertility doctor called me yesterday because we are scheduled for IUI tomorrow at 11:30am (Eastern time). He said I have four mature follicles. He and I talked before starting injections about “selective abortion” if I had a lot of follies and they all got fertilized. We are still going to proceed this cycle and will do what we have to if faced with that decision.

Does anyone have stories they can share regarding multiple follicles and IUI? I’m nervous but also excited and hopeful.

Keep us in your thoughts and prayers that we will make a baby!
