Rainbow Baby Shower

So my mother wants to host my baby shower later this year and she text me today saying that she is so excited to know the gender on the 31st so that she knows if she needs pink or blue decorations and what color to buy. I told her because this is my rainbow baby that I would really like to have a rainbow theme. Also I really hate stereotypical gender specific colors (especially pink)its a bit old fashion for me I aim for gender neutrality. She said it would be confusing for guest to have a rainbow theme though. Like how? I think its pretty self explanatory what a rainbow theme would mean or am I wrong? Do most people not know that a rainbow baby is a baby after a loss? I appreciate her wanting to through the shower but I feel like I should have a bit of say especially because if I have a girl the last thing she will be wearing is pink!
