Contractions..maybe?

First time mom here..so I’ve been having a sharp crampy pain where my bump starts at the top of my vagina and my belly is rock hard. It comes and goes. Not sure if it’s a contraction or not.

Sounds like braxton Hicks rather than labour pains. Braxton Hicks can become painful in the third trimester. The difference between bh and labour pains is that braxton Hicks don’t get progressively worse and they stop, labour pains continue and get closer together.

I’ve had Braxton hicks and they haven’t hurt me at all. I’m 37 weeks and 2 days.
