Can High Stress Cause You to Ovulate Early?

Question

My cycles have always been 28 days/ ovulating cd14, but this cycle I think I may be ovulating super early! 😳 I’m only on cd9... 
I have been under a high amount of stress the last 2 weeks and swore it would cause me to ovulate late, but the opks are saying otherwise. 🤷🏼‍♀️ 
Thankfully I chart my bbt, so I’ll have my answer soon. Just curious if anyone may have had a similar situation.

I ovulated a few days early last cycle so it’s definitely possible (also fairly stressed!)! Those are strong positives so I’d definitely bd! You might not O and have another surge later in your cycle if you don’t see a temp shift with temping, keep testing opks. It goes against the rule that stress can delay O but I think it has to be a pretty significant amount of stress (like getting in a car accident, etc) to delay O, I could be wrong though.

Yes I ovulated early this month as well and the only stress I had was anxious about checking O.

Guess high stress levels CAN cause you to ovulate early. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Thank goodness I decided to test early this cycle.
