So my boyfriend and I had two abortions and I told him that if I ever get pregnant again that I’m not aborting it, I’m not sure if he feels the same. I know it’s ultimately my choice but he already has one child that we love so much and I want to get a house before I have a child, I’m not sure what to do

If you don't like the way birth control makes you feel, have you looked into another kind? There's different kinds of BC that can be suitable for you. On the other hand look into condoms. If you continuously and knowingly having unprotected sex, you're going to get pregnant.

Abortions shouldn’t be used as birth control. It’s a surgical procedure that comes with risks and leaves scar tissue. It can have a negative effect on your ability to conceive when you are ready. Hormonal birth control isn’t your only option. You both need to take a trip to a Planned Parenthood and get some education on what types are out there. You’re harming your body as a reactive measure instead of protecting yourselves as a proactive measure.

you guys should seriously discuss your options together and seriously use some form of contraception if you guys are not using anything. there are so many types of contraception out there and you guys arent ready for kids. the alternative is to become celibate. whatever method you are using, its not working and you guys really need to talk.

You either need to consider real abstinence, or a form of reliable birth control. I can’t do hormonal birth control, so I ended up pregnant by accident (no regrets) but my bf will not be excited when I tell him so, I’m steeling myself for the difficulty that will bring. We were only having sex 2-3 times a month and it still happened after a year. It’s a very real concern to have, but you need to at least try to prevent if you’re not ready, and your relationship isn’t ready.

Get an IUD. You don’t have to worry about forgetting to take it and it will give you minimal/no problems. Less expensive than abortions, too.

Get on birth control ASAP if you havent already. When I was young, I had an abortion and although I felt relieved at the time, it kills me to think of it now.

Some sort of protection it’s not easy going through an abortion in any means and it might impact your fertility in the future if you continue to have more.
