Birth photographer or no?

Did you want/have a birth photographer in the room taking pictures? And why or why not??

No. It’s not something I’d ever want. I just don’t find it necessary.

No because it would just make me stressed and uncomfortable to have a stranger around when I’m so vulnerable

Definitely not. My mother in law thought itd be okay to take pictures when I was giving birth to my son without my permission. I was pissed and it made an already stressful situation worse (I was pushing for three hours and I wasnt too comfortable with her being in the room to begin with). I was so pissed. And she took them on her tablet that she let her daughter and husband use. And it wasnt just pictures of my face. No. She thought it was okay to take pictures of my vagina while I was trying to push out my son. Like. Hell no. Who just does that without asking?! I am a private person (which she knew) and I am fairly modest. And it just was never something I wanted. And definitely still do not want.

Nope. Not something I need pictures of. Someone can take photos after the baby is born. I have two kids and never once have I been upset that there are not photos of me in labor.

No. Just thinking about how many people where in the delivery room when my daughter was born let alone a photographer still stresses me out.
