Do you "fall" pregnant or do you "get" pregnant?

I'm just curious what you use for a term and why?

I've heard people say they "fell pregnant" but it's never made sense.

Every time someone says they fell pregnant to me it sounds like it’s a disease or illness.

I say "get pregnant", but I've heard people say "fall pregnant" .. to me "fall pregnant" sounds like "oh she fell ill" , like getting pregnant was a disease or something.
