did u transfer 1 embryo or two?

im healthy, no pcos, no endo just tat my amh is 2.5, lower side of normal, my husband has motility issues so we decided to do

icsi next month, now the question is wether to transfer 1 or 2 embryos, im worried about multiple births and complications that come with it.I am 29 yrs old.. Did any of u transfer just 1 embryo and got a bfp?

Our doctor is pretty set on only transferring one embryobaby. I’m 31 and healthy (although I could def lose some weight, working on it 😬). He said that multiples pregnancy (twins count) have much higher risk of miscarriage, health issues for mom and baby, and they are much more expensive deliveries. After hearing his reason we decided to only to implant one embryobaby. He also said they’ve found better success with frozen embryos, so we are doing a frozen transfer with ICSI and PGS. We retrieved 16 eggs yesterday, 11 fertilized 💓 and now we wait for day 5 blasts and PGS results. Baby dust to you!

Your doctor will counsel you once you have all the facts. We had a day 3 meeting with our doctor in which she reviewed the quality of our eggs and the prognosis for further development. We had a few strong embryos growing and we waited until day 5. Had 1 strong embryo and transferred 1 and currently 14 wks. Don’t stress about it because it will become clear as your embryos develop.

I have pcos, husband was great in his department, failed IUI. We did IVF with ICSI frozen and transferred 2 embryos. I'm now 16weeks with a healthy baby girl. We still have 3 frozen for the next time.

I’m 29 and just had my first cycle of IVF/ICSI and did fresh 5 day transfer with one embryo. I’ll be 5 weeks pregnant tomorrow. Recent research is pointing toward one embryo having higher success rates than multiple embryos when transferred at day 5 (for women our age). Your doctor will be able to make a recommendation and given your age I would imagine they’ll suggest single embryo transfer. 
Something else to note; if you’re using insurance you may not have a choice. My insurance requires single embryo transfer until 2 cycles have failed. But again, that’s just specific to my criteria and my insurance  coverage but it’s just something to look into if you’re able to use insurance.

I’m 29 with pcos and male factor. Couldn’t get pregnant in 3 years of trying on our own and had 7 failed IUIs.
Did our first IVF (fresh) in May and of 2 embryos and had a chemical pregnancy confirmed by beta test. 
Our 2nd frozen transfer was in June and we transferred 2. Im pregnant, 5 weeks 4 days  🙏😬 
I have 2 more left frozen. IVF is the only way I’ve ever been pregnant!

We had unexplained infertility- both healthy as one can be. 
First IVF round, we had four embryos. In the Netherlands they never transfer more than one if you are healthy and under a certain age. We transferred one (fresh) and the three others are on ice. 
 
Currently 34+1 expecting a little girl :) it can happen with one and boy am I glad that they only transferred one :)
