I like to do my hair, put something nice on and maybe put on a touch of make up for when my partner gets home because I like to make an effort for him. But today, I was fatigued after a massive week at work, I have a sore back, it was cold and just could not be bothered getting changed out of my pj’s or doing ANYTHING to make myself look better.

I greeted my partner at the door with a kiss as I usually do if I’m home before him (he does the same for me).

He said ‘Hey babe, how was your day? You look stunning!’

I said ‘My day was okay. You’re full of shit 😂’

He said ‘I wouldn’t say it unless I meant it. You’re beautiful.’

I think this means we really are well and truly in love 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 He really is the sweetest guy. For him to find beauty in the way I looked today blows me away.

I think I’m going to start writing down all of the amazing things he says to me. I want to be able to tell our kids all about how romantic their dad was (if we ever have kids).
