Femara question???

Hey ladies 
So I have been on clomid 3 time and didn’t get pregnant. So I asked my doctor about femara. And she said we could try that and see. Well I got the medicine yesterday and I am supposed to start today but I’m nervous bc the bottle said this

I am not sure what to say here. It makes me scared to take it bc I am trying to get pregnant. Why would the bottle say this? Has anyone ever gotten pregnant while on femara??

Femara is not FDA approved for ovulation/fertility. It’s a breast cancer drug, but works similarly to Clomid so that’s why it’s prescribed. I had better success with Femara than with Clomid.

Femara leaves your system faster than clomid. It's gone within 48 hours of taking your last tablet and you usually wouldn't ovulate until days after that last pill and then even then your potential embryo wouldn't implant until 5 days after conception so the Femara is way gone out of your body by then.  I felt way better taking Femara than Clomid.  Plus Femara doesn't thin your lining like Clomid tends to do.  I conceived our little girl on my first cycle taking Femara (5mgs) and also did IUI.  I will be doing the same protocol in a couple of weeks to try for one more baby.  Best wishes that Femara works for you also!

I did femara for one round. It says that on the bottle since femara is usually used for women with breast cancer.

I had success on the third round if 7.5 mg but I also already ovulated on my own before taking it.
