How long would you date/ talk to someone before making it official and exclusive

I don't date casually and I don't play games. If I'm interested in someone, I tell them. So my relationships have always been exclusive from the second date or so.

how can become exclusive with someone so quickly? I'd say it definitely takes a few months of dating to get to know each other.

It really depends on the person. My partner asked me to be his official girlfriend after being together for less than 2 weeks (it was so cute. I felt like we were in high school again) but we had been friends for a year before we started dating.

when i use to date i took my time. i was never in a rush to become exclusive I'm more of a go with the flow type. much less stressful plus gives yourself more time to know the person. people like to jump into things so quick before they even know somebody then be surprised when everything starts to go wrong

My now fiancé and I took about 2 months to be officially exclusive (we’d been talking/flirting for 2 months prior but nothing serious) and in a committed relationship. When we first went out he had been on a few dates with a couple other girls around the same time, but when we started talking more and by the time we went out for the third time he was exclusively seeing me. I was always only seeing him. We were pretty much in an exclusive relationship from date 3, but we didn’t have that discussion until later on. When we finally did, it turned out that the both of us pretty much considered the other person their SO.
