She’s an Italian grey hound chihuahua mix (what we call a greyhuahua) so she’s very tiny and super fast. Her name is Sy for Poseidon which is weird because she’s scared of water. I just wanted to tell her story. She was rescued by Humane Hero’s in The Austin area. She was abused and forced to live in a box inside the apartment her first owner had. She wasn’t allowed outside and she was poorly fed. When we got her she was a little under 9 lbs. She was terrified of people. When we went to the shelter I fell in love with her. My dad and my brother wanted the terrier and i was like “No guys, this is the one” she slowly warmed up to me and my brother. We took her to one of the meeting rooms and we loved her. Now she travels across the US with my dad in his semi. One day she’s running around Mississippi the next day she’s playing fetch in Ohio. She likes to sit in the passenger seat and watch the world go by. Her favorite time of day is when my dad sweeps his trailer, she runs up and down it and chases the broom. She’s also obsessed with bacon she stands on her hind legs like a meerkat and spins. Her favorite place to be is wrapped up in a blanket. She weighs about 10-11 lbs now. She hates walkers btw. If you are not in a truck she will growl, so my dad and I will talk from her perspective and be like “Really? Grey on grey you couldn’t think of anything better” but the person is wearing orange and blue. So that’s my pup’s story sorry if it seems long. I wanted to cover everything and her progress. She also has intimacy issues.
