I'm starting to babysit people kids now

I have been babysitting my neighbors kids that lives underneath me in the apartment for two days now. I told them myself I didn't mind babysitting if they needed a kid free break. I told my mother about this and now she thinks they are using me. my brother and I went to school with these people so I have know them for a very long time. Everytime I want to do something fun, my mother is always telling me it's wrong or judging about something. I stay in my apartment with my 1 year old everyday while my husband works and yes I do sorta get bored but I clean house everyday and take care of my son but I love children and I just think babysitting will be a good hobby for me. I dont work because I draw a disability check from my learning in school so that's why I stay home all the time. I dont drive either. I'm afraid of driving! my main friends are my family and a few friends that lives close by.
