Insanely irregular periods. Nobody helps.

Hi there

I’ve been having my period for 11 years now and it has never been regular. At its worst I had maybe 6 periods a year. I may get two periods in a row that are around 30 days apart but right now for example - I haven’t had a period for 50 days. I’ve been on and off birth control to regulate myself and it does work but I don’t care so much about that so much as I do WHY DOES THIS HAPPEN??

My periods when I get them are so painful I can barely function or get up. I’ve had two pelvic exams. I’ve had an ultrasound and blood tests but nothing ever shows up. I’m so annoyed and frustrated I can’t be normal. I’m not overweight, I’m 133 pounds at 5’7 and my mother has perfect periods. No family history of issues.

Anyone else know why could be going on? :(
