Advice please?

So. My boyfriend is 18 almost 19. I’m 17 almost 18. He’s been living with me for about a year at my parents house. I don’t have a very good home life it honestly sucks here and we both want to move out as soon as I turn 18. The problem is he SUCKS at saving money. He isn’t even just blowing it all on him. He’s so sweet and always tries buying me cute stuff and whatever so he blow a lot of it on me. I tell him not to I tell him all the time that if he really wants to move out we gotta start saving money. I have anxiety issues and I’m working on overcoming them and getting a job to help out. But he makes about 1400 every 2 weeks. It’s usually gone by the next paycheck maybe like 100 left over. How can I help him start saving his money?
