Has anyone hired an au pair? How was it? Was anyone every an au pair? I’d love to hear some experiences

I was an au pair. I actually liked it but it was challenging at time. it makes a big difference the kind of family you work with. I have a group of friends who were also au pairs living in the area. some of them loved it, some found it really hard. is there something specific you wanted to know?
