My baby girl is a July baby!

So Friday 7/13/18 i had my sonogram to measure Aria and check her weight, i was feeling a little crampy and some pressure like she had dropped but thought not too much of it. We leave and go do a couple more errands and as I’m waiting for hubby to come out from his appointment i start to feel more cramping and contractions and I’m in some pain. The minute he saw my face he already knew and we went straight to labor and delivery where i continued to have contractions getting strong and frequent. I stood in triage monitoring the contractions and was a half a centimeter dilated, they ended up admitting me after three hours of fluids not stopping the contractions. I labored for 12 hours not progressing with dilating so the doctor decided to induce me because i was in pain, and at risk for abruption due to my previous c sections. He gave me an epidural and pitocin and i labored onto the next day. 17 hours into labor they broke my water because i was 3 centimeters dilated to speed things up. Not even 30 minutes after breaking my water i started feeling such pressure and like i had to poo or push something i called the nurse and she rushed in. I have never seen someone rush to call doctors and gather all their equipment lol. She had me do practice pushes while waiting for the doctor to arrive and baby’s head was already crowning and the doctor literally just walked in and had me push twice and my baby irl just plopped right out lol literally two or three pushes and she was out. The fastest. Two minutes is all it took. Nurse and Doctor walked in at 657 am and Aria was born at 659 am 7/14/18. The longest labor i ever had but the fastest birth i had. So crazy. But because i was only 34 weeks 5 days along, baby girl was born a preemie weighing 4 pounds 12.9 ounces and almost 18 inches long. She is such a trooper. She was in the nicu with no oxygen needed, just an iv for low sugar and monitoring her heart and oxygen levels, a feeding tube for a couple days and in an incubator to help her regulate her body temperature. She was only there for two days and was transferred into a regular nursery the day i was discharged but was allowed to room with her in the maternity ward with my hubby. She was taken out of the incubator and feeding tube taken out the next day. She progressed so beautifully and all the nurses and doctors amazed at how well she was doing. We were discharged today and are home doing great. My little peanut is such a strong little girl and I’m so blessed everything turned out good. She nurses like a champ. I haven’t had my baby shower yet, it’s this Saturday lol. Me and SO had to rush and buy baby items at such short notice and my friends and sister ordered and shipped a lot of things to us in the last 5 days before we came home. Baby girl was in a rush to get here lol. My doctor told me it happened so fast and i went into labor so early because i was beginning to abrupt at the c section incision and bled quite a bit more when she was born but we got her out on time and we got really lucky. I thank god. I’m still in awe and shock.
