Thinking of getting an IUD next week..?

I have PCOS and have been on BC since I was 15. However, I'm the WORST at remembering to take my pill each day. I'm debating on if I want to get an IUD. The benefits are there but I have also heard some negatives. Does anyone have one and what was your experience with having it inserted? And your experience with it overall? ♥️

Try the paragard. It's copper with no hormones.

I had the Mirena and it was definitely the worst experience I’ve had.

Mirena worsened my depression over time. I had acne and couldn’t lose weight. I’m not going on hormones ever again
