Hi STMs I need your advice

How did you know you were ready for #2 some days I want it more then anything and others I absolutely just want my one baby. He just turned a year old. I’m scared to wait to long and have no idea what an ideal age gap is for us, and my whole pregnancy was the worst depression and even after, I’m just now recovering from PPD. So I’m scared of going through that again, was it easier the second time? I hear it’s better for PPD if you have them closer.
