Ibuprofen??

How much is safe to take while breastfeeding? My wisdom tooth is coming in and it’s killing me! I want to take as much as safely possible. I tried looking online but am getting so many mixed messages. What do you think?

You can take It don’t listen I got prescribed high dose of iburpfern after birth and to take home because of the pain and I was breastfeeding. Just take 2 every 6-8 hours

I was prescribed it after my c section. I just take it either at least an hour prior to feeding, or just after. but it's safe, otherwise my OB wouldn't have prescribed it to me

Look on the lactmed app. Also a little dab of clove oil on the tooth numbs that sucker right up.

I'm not sure the max dosage, but I wouldn't go over what they give you for your c section recovery. I had my wisdom teeth removed while breastfeeding and I believe they gave me 600mg every 6-8 hours.
