How many people is too many?

For my daughter's first birthday I'd love to have a party or picnic with family (her aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents) and close friends. Unfortunately this adds up to 45 people. Is that crazy for a first birthday?

Were at 30 adults and 15 children (including babies) right now coming but over 60 adults were invited. And it’s just close family & friends 🤷🏼‍♀️ We won’t do this for his other bdays. The 1st is special.

We quickly got to 65 when we were planning ours- but we decided to go with a smaller venue so the max we can have is like 40.

🤦🏼‍♀️ we have a list of 185.... ..that right there is insane.   45 people is less than my immediate family alone.  74 was her baptism,  and that was immediate only,  no friends.
