Early Labor

Im 36 weeks and have been cramping and contracting since yesterday morning. Contractions are about 4-5mins. Around midnight they began to wake me out my sleep. My back hurts and there is soo much pressure. I went to L&D; yesterday around 1pm. Dr said it was early labor and sent me home. I was 2.5 cm dilated and 90% effaced. In all my pregnancies I never dilated on my own even the time my water broke. I would have thought they would stop the contractions before sending me home considering I’m still working. The pain is unbearable. Im to the point where they either need to stop contractions or give this process a boost. All I can do is cry. Have anyone else had to go through this and what was your experience?
