How fast did your hospital schedule Induced?

I have an appointment on Monday and doctor basically said we will probably schedule from there. How many days or how long did you wait after they say they want to schedule. I be 40  weeks before my appointment.

I am 39weeks 4 days today and no change in over a week.  My Dr scheduled me for induction for exactly 41 weeks.

I went to my 40 week appointment this past week with next to no signs of labor, so my doc scheduled my induction for the following week at 7 days past, although both of us hoping it won’t be necessary...  😬

I was scheduled after my 40 week appointment for the following week. It may take them a long time to schedule you if your desired hospital is busy this time of the year.

I was told they wanted to induce me after going to the hopital at 40+2 weeks for low fetal movement, was in there for 5 hours and had to go home and get everything and go back. So mine was a spontanious decision you could say.

Mine is tentatively scheduled, I’m 39 weeks and if he doesn’t come by his due date, the 27th, they will induce me the following week. They said I can wait till 41 if I want but are moving my regular appointment on the 30th to an induction appointment. I might schedule it out a few more days only because if I’m working on the 31st I get an extra week of paid vacation. However, if I wait I won’t be able to deliver with my doctor because she is only in on the 30th that week.

A week out - but it was only because they wouldn’t allow me to be induced before then. So they got me the earliest date possible. I believe they can schedule it for whenever they want, as long as the hospital has a bed for you!

I was 40+1 at my appointment and my blood pressure was higher than normal but tests came back normal so they decided to start induction on 40+6 starting poticin at 41 weeks.

my induction is scheduled for 42 weeks, it’s been scheduled since 38 weeks because the hospital is so full all the time. 🙄

my induction was scheduled 2 weeks in advance, but I'm a type one diabetic and we are usually induced by 38-39 weeks to avoid complications. I was 38+1 when I was induced.

My doctor scheduled two weeks in advance with the hospital. At 37 week appointment said they would schedule, 38 week appointment told us the day and time and at 39 weeks we will be going in.
