Is a quantitative or qualitative HCG blood test more accurate?

Qualitative : a simple yes, you're pregnant or no, you're not pregnant. Does the same thing as a urine test 
Quantitative : gives you the actual number amount of hcg that is in your blood stream

The qualitative tests you’re talking about are quantitative tests. They’re programmed to say yes only when you have a certain amount of HCG in your urine. When a doctor reads the amount of HCG on blood work they’re looking if the number is above or below a certain cut off. Just like on a stick you pee on that says yes or no. 
The only reason a blood test is more accurate is because it’s a blood test so the amount of hormone in your body is more accurate. In your urine the hormone is the hormone from your blood being eliminated from your body in the urine. So the levels aren’t as accurate all the time. But those tests are still very good.

Both are accurate. Quantitive will just be for them to see a number.
