Is it common to not have a period while you are breast feeding? I am 14weeks post partum and no period? I had some bleeding while I tried the mini pill but that’s it!

So if I’m not ovulating and not getting a period, chances of getting pregnant are low, correct?? I’ve had a hard time finding a birth control that doesn’t make me bleed constantly. But definitely don’t want to get pregnant right now!!!

Very normal. I exclusively pumped for our son for 8 months and didn’t have a period till I stopped.

Yup. Breastfeeding produces hormones that tell your body to not ovulate. I had a friend not get her period until she stopped breastfeeding her daughter at 8 months. (you can still get your period while you're breastfeeding though, like I have)
