I eloped in Alaska and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The month long vacation, photographer (115 edited photos), our outfits, hair/makeup, officiant/witnesses ended up costing us less than just a venue where we’re from (Florida).

I literally married my best friend in a small room by a judge, lol. Nothing fancy, and I honestly don't regret it to this day! It just comes down to your personalities, and what you want from the whole experience. ♡

I’m having a small wedding (relatively as both my fiancé and I have very large families so a small wedding is really hard to do). There will be about 160 people including the wedding party (if everyone attends) which is only family and a few friends. I really want my family and close friends to be at my wedding to celebrate with us. I wouldn’t be happy eloping. 
My parents would also be devastated if they weren’t present to see me get married. And while my marriage isn’t about them, my parents have given me so much and I just wouldn’t feel right about not sharing this huge moment with them.

Took a cruise out of Florida to the Bahamas with 40 close family and friends for 5 days. It was soooooo easy. No planning involved really and no stress.

We had a big wedding because our family wanted us to have one ( we had a small 30 ppl wedding planned, but we ended up doing a big one.) our families helped and little came out of own pockets. We ended up saving a lot of money for a kickass honeymoon
