soft cervix?

I'm 15 dpo today after my first iui. I got a negative preg test yesterday, so figured it didn't work. Today I though I'd check my cervix since I still have no aunt flow signs. my cervix is super soft and about half way up or a little higher. any insight? I'm pretty much always low and hard the week leading up to af 🤔
