At what week did you start preparing your nursery?!

I’m almost 20 weeks and I know theres no rule on when to start but the excitement is driving me insane! I have it all planned out furniture picked but I feel like it’s so early?! I’m planning to have it all done by 30 weeks. I’m not doing anything crazy no wall painting or anything just clearing it the room that will be hers giving it a deeps clean to make sure its so fresh although my partner says it’s fine but I’m going to still scrub everything 😂 then just simple furniture and decor.

I’m 28 weeks and the room we are going to be using for the nursery is still full of crap and needs to be recarpeted. My husband seems to be in no hurry but I’m getting so jealous of seeing all the pictures on this app!!!

I’m starting mine at about 18 weeks. Hopefully I’ll have all the furniture and stuff done before then though, cause it’ll be getting cold. My husband is abroad doing research and comes back at about 18 weeks for a visit, so he’ll be cleaning out his office so when he leaves again I can turn it into a nursery with my best friend!

Our nursery is almost complete.....and has been for some time haha we set it up right before trying. I am 4+2 weeks pregnant.

My dad redid her floor and painted the walls around 25 weeks (he does that for his job). Then I started getting everything in there about a week later, I’m 35 weeks and it’s still honestly not fully done, there’s still decorations that need to be hung up, and it still needs to be organized much better, I just have 0 energy to do it.

Never too early! Go for  it! When you get into third trimester energy slows way down and you are so exhausted! I would have started on mine sooner but we had to empty my You here daughters things out. Then finally my husband took out the trim and carpet and we got to paint. Then had to paint the trim. And do the closet and then had to save money for new floor( the carpet had stains from my mother in laws dogs and we never had a chance to change it in the seven years we lived here). Then I had to wait for my husband to put the trim back up once he did I set into Mom mode. I got all his stuff in there I had been collecting and bought my chair and had it ready in a week. I was around 35 weeks when I got it done. Now currently 40-3 and wishing he would just get here! Good luck!

I started very shortly after I found out (4 1/2 weeks). I done little bits of it here and there so it didn’t cost a ton all at once and it gave us a chance to get what we really wanted.
