Provera should I wait?

So I’m on day cycle day 42 my glow says I’m suppose to start my period tomorrow. Been TTC and been taking ovulation test however I don’t  think I ever got a flaming positive. Doctors said to take a pregnancy test and if it was negative to take provera. Which i did and sure enough negative Should I wait longer? Or just take it?

For me I don’t know. When I’ll get period last cycle was 42 days the cycle before that was 90 days before I took  provera. I’ve taken it a couple of times now.

I am still same as you, I took pregnant test recently it was negative while I am on 48 days now I waiting until AF arrive then I will get blood work but I’m afraid about provera side effect..so following

Provera should I wait?
