I married a German and the tradition after the ceremony is to race cutting out a heart from a bed sheet basically and then he has to carry you thru it. They also do roast games like making the groom read out a funny poem about the bride and drink a whole liter of beer for example. They do lots of games. The timing too is all night unlike in the states... we got married in Philadelphia. Oh how I wish we could relive our wedding day, so amazing
