Hello All!!

So my bf and I are in the process of moving from a 2 bed/2 bath apartment into a 4 bed/2.5 bath house with a fenced in yard for our 3 fur babies.

Anyways...my bf’s brother is also staying with us (long story) and he’s been sleeping on an air mattress and we figured it was time he upgraded to a real bed.

So the bf and I go shopping at IKEA and find a bed frame we liked. We purchased it and brought it to the new house.

I like to build things, I find that I make quite the handy woman, so I tell my bf that I’d like to put the bed together (his brother was out of town at the time) and he looks at me and is dumbfounded, he didn’t think I’d volunteer like that.

Next thing I know, he’s betting me that I can’t finish the entire bed frame.

So we wager. If he wins, he gets to pick any home cooked meal he wants and I’ll make it for him. If I win, I get a mani/pedi, since I ruined my nails putting the bed together.

Well ladies (& the occasional gent)...

I did it!! I completed the bed, won the bet and am getting my well deserved mani/pedi, not to mention bragging rights!!!

Ironically enough, the shirt I was wearing when I finished the bed said: “Never underestimate the power of a woman” — LMAO!! Too bad the bf had to learn that lesson the hard way!!!
