Godparent proposal

Hi everyone! ☺️

Quick question, am I the only one who goes overboard with godparent proposals? My SO says I’m always too extra when it comes to buying people stuff for their birthdays, Christmas, weddings, etc. but that’s just the way I am. Anyway, I just wanted some help with godfather proposal.. I wanted to get him a whisky glass that says “The Godfather” and those small liquor bottles that they usually have on the planes. BUT he no longer drinks after a DUI incident he had a while ago. So I don’t want him to feel uncomfortable if I got him that knowing his situation. I saw a coffee mug similar to the whiskey glass but in a way I find that lame to give to a guy 😬 any suggestions?
