First time on birth control pills. Help?!

1. I’m a virgin and in a serious relationship now. My boyfriend and I have decided that we, in no manner want any ‘accidents’ because we are only 23 and trying our hardest for our future.
2. I’m a Virgin so is it alright to start birth control pills (of course I’ll be having sex later on)?
3. What pills would you recommend?

Your doctor will suggest a pill for you. And you can definitely start birth control when you arent sexually active. It does more than just prevent pregnancy.

Talk to your doctor about all your options. The pill isn’t the only option for birth control anymore. Don’t get me wrong, the pill is great and I really liked it when I was on it. But, for me now the nurvaring works way better for me. So I really suggest talking about all he different options of birth control. One type of birth control that works for you won’t always work for someone else and it’s the same with different brands of the pill. 
And you can certainly start birth control without be sexual active. It’s actually a good idea to start before having sex so you know you’ll be protected.

I started on birth control pills well before losing my virginity so no worries there. I’m on the combo pill, but your doctor will take into your health history and lifestyle, talk through options and find the best one for you
