Does thrush cause bleeding

So I recently went to the clinic because my vagina was itchy and I noticed a change in my discharge. The nurse said I have thrush and gave me this gel (vagarsol gel). I've used it for 2 days now and I noticed a bit of blood when peeing. Is this normal? I'm worried now. Pls help.

Not when peeing, you could have a UTI. I’d go back to the doctors cos you may need antibiotics

If the blood is actually in your pee then it's more likely a UTI, for which you will need antibiotics.
