Uh oh... (The rant, a comedy... maybe) -update!

9 months of even keel and suddenly at 36 weeks my hormones kick in and I’m ready to fly off the handle 🤣.

If you guys here about a pregnant woman getting placed on a 5150 hold over the delivery of her nursery set... it’s totally me.

First off, but buy baby, wtf are you doing? Get your shit together.

In your store and outside of it - this 3rd party delivery shit is a joke. Who can’t give a time of delivery until 8pm the night before?!?! And even then it’s a five hour window?!

Second of all, what kind of multimillion dollar building management and HOA doesn’t keep avid track of who has the loading dock and when and why on EARTH would you allow someone to make a reservation on top of another reservation?

Oh, no, honey.

Not only that, who gets online to see there’s already a reservation for the loading dock and decides to book right over top of it and then piles all their shit into the loading bay and backs two trucks in to take up both spaces?

This momma is getting her shit delivered.

Today.

And I’m gonna go balls to the wall on anyone who gets in my way!

UPDATE: so they were supposed to arrive between 2-5, they arrived at 5:10.

Approx 5 mins after the neighbor who was moving rolled out with their first load.

The front desk attendant was like, “good news! They wont be back for an hour so the loading dock and freight elevator is all yours until they get back.”

I was like, “well that’s a relief considering I’ve had a management approved spot blocked out for the last 4 hours that they’ve been using it.” 🙄

So then the guys come up and build the crib and put together the chair and take the dresser out of the box for me. Then they give me the sheet to sign for the delivery and I’m like, “where’s the side table?”

“Well, it was at the warehouse, but wasn’t on our delivery form so we couldn’t bring it.”

“You literally saw it at the warehouse?”

(Unspoken: And didn’t bring it?!)

Yes, they did see it and no they didn’t bring it.

I took a deep breath because in all honest this IS BBB’s fault. I scheduled a Saturday drop off with them two weeks ago, my husband tried to call to get more info from them and they told him it was scheduled for Thursday (so I moved our reservation for the loading dock to Thursday). Then when they called me on Wednesday to say the side table arrived and they were adding it to the drop off I confirmed that the delivery was Thursday... the girl giggled and said it was her bad, she got the dates wrong when he called and it’s actually coming Saturday.

Which was when I promptly changed our reservation back to Saturday...

Clearly it’s “her bad” again that my side table didn’t arrive today. Idk wtf she was doing after our phone call, but it obviously wasn’t adding my side table to our drop off form.

Sooooooo tomorrow when we go to complete our registry, I’m finally going to talk to the management about their terrible customer service, lack of professionalism and their work place waste management.

Commence the eating of someone’s proverbial balls for lunch.

On a side note: I’m still actually in a good mood because the furniture turned out amazing!!! 😍

So the delivery boys left with their stones intact 🤣.
